Dr. Salmon will perform the Sonata No. 2 in E Major, Op. 54 (composed 1989) by Nikolai Kapustin.

Awarding of First Prizes, announcement and awarding of Honorable Mentions, & presentation of "Certificates of Participation" and free item(s) to all contestants. Mandatory attendance for ALL contestants (except those entering Written Composition category ONLY).

To qualify for prizes, all participants who are accepted into the festival must:

Though optional, students are also strongly encouraged to attend the various educational workshops and other "extra events" scheduled throughout the festival, including a complimentary refreshments reception on Saturday, June 14 from 4 to 7 P.M.

All events are free admission and open to students, teachers and the public unless otherwise noted (e.g., Digital Category creativity sessions, which are limited by room space).
